Invest Gold Coast Joins JASHIE 2026 as Silver Partner

sports, innovation, technology, health

The Japan–Australia Sports & Health Innovation Exchange (JASHIE) is pleased to welcome Invest Gold Coast as a Silver Partner for the 2026 delegation program.

As one of the host cities for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Gold Coast is rapidly emerging as a hub for sport, entertainment, innovation, and health industries. The city’s strong sporting heritage, world-class infrastructure, and growing innovation ecosystem make it an ideal destination for international collaboration and investment.

During the JASHIE delegation program in Queensland this March, the Invest Gold Coast team will present a strategic overview of the Gold Coast’s sport, entertainment, innovation, and health ecosystems. The session will highlight current and emerging investment opportunities, as well as the key infrastructure and industry capabilities supporting the region’s growth.

The presentation will also outline the City of Gold Coast’s Brisbane 2032 legacy agenda, providing insight into how the Games are driving long-term economic development, innovation, and global engagement. Delegates will learn about the government support mechanisms available to facilitate international market entry, partnerships, and business growth.

Through this partnership, JASHIE participants will gain valuable insights into one of Australia’s emerging sport and innovation markets and explore opportunities to collaborate with local stakeholders as the region prepares for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

We look forward to working with Invest Gold Coast to connect Japanese and Australian innovators and unlock new opportunities in sport, health, and technology.
